With over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, Gary Asher has established himself as a seasoned expert in building and optimizing networks and phone systems for a diverse range of remote offices. His extensive portfolio spans manufacturing offices, plant floors, health care clinics, and retail stores, showcasing his versatility and in-depth knowledge of various industry needs.

Throughout his career, Gary has honed his expertise in reviewing and managing telecom costs, contracts, equipment, network cabling, phone systems, and services provided by telephone and cable TV companies. His journey began at Sprint Telecommunications, where he gained strong foundational knowledge of telephone networks and services.

Gary then worked for The Methodist Hospitals in Gary, Indiana, where he built a two-campus network consisting entirely of Cisco Systems equipment. This project further solidified his expertise in designing and implementing robust network solutions.

This experience was further enriched during his tenure at Danka Office Imaging, where he learned the intricacies of remote office networks and telephone systems. As the IT Director of Paramount Holdings, a medical diagnostic imaging firm, formerly PresGar Companies, Gary was responsible for meticulously reviewing contracts for each remote location across the United States. His role at Trulite Glass and Aluminum saw him undertake the significant task of rewiring manufacturing plants and offices with state-of-the-art network and phone equipment.

At Citigroup, he contributed to a team that provided comprehensive telephone service support for over 700 US branches while also offering his project management skills to ensure the seamless implementation of telecom solutions nationwide. An engineer at heart, Gary currently brings his extensive skill set to the Lauer IT Group, where he continues to provide top-notch telecommunications consulting and project management services. He focuses on offering cost-effective solutions tailored to the needs of small businesses, ensuring they have robust networks, cybersecurity, and phone systems.
